Stock Images Have a Home in the Creative Process

A powerful image conveys a great deal. It can give a sense of scale, depth, detail, context — and even your brand. In the creative process, especially in concepting and prototyping, it can be challenging to capture a company’s ethos using stock images. Without a professional photoshoot, how can you capture the emotion, the aesthetic you envision to bring your project to fruition?

Look, there are a lot of great stock images out there. But at the end of the day, it’s often preferable to include original photography on your website, in your brochure or as part of your digital marketing campaign. With that said, stock images can serve as a stepping stone in capturing the assets you ultimately need.
