As a Station8 freelance UX/UI Designer, you’ll be creating new and exciting web designs alongside talented Sr. team members. Showing your skills and creative thinking for web design with a solid, imaginative design ability. Having more than just talent and a passion for design, we’re searching for someone who is intrigued by growth, excited by challenges and brings a positive spirit to every project. This position does have the potential to expand into a full-time position with the right partner.
- Eye for design, typography and photography.
- Autonomously design entire website designs with provided information and guidance.
- Be able to work in collaboration with other designers when appropriate.
- Work with Account Executives on creative reviews.
- Adhere to existing client brand standards.
- Adhere to internal processes, budgets and timelines for each project.
- Adhere to a mobile-friendly design approach and account for animations.
- Work within quick timelines.
- 3+ years in an agency setting, or related design experience.
- Proficient in Figma.
- Proficient in Abobe Creative Suite programs: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects is preferred.
- Enthusiasm when sharing ideas internally.
- Willingness to “raise your hand” and contribute proactively.
- Take and synthesize critique.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work within a team as well as individually.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Outstanding ability to think creatively and strategically, and to collaboratively resolve problems.
- Development knowledge is a plus.
- Willingness to present in front of clients is also a plus.
